Class Descriptions

GYMNASTICS

ALL GYMNASTICS CLASSES LISTED BELOW OFFER GYMNASTICS FUNDAMENTALS INCLUDING BALANCE BEAM, UNEVEN BARS, TUMBLING, TRAMPOLINE AND TUMBLE TRACK.


INTRO TO GYMNASTICS - 6 YEAR OLDS WITH LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE!! 1 HOUR.
1 HOUR OF GYMNASTICS FUNDAMENTALS


GYMNASTICS I - 6 YEARS AND OLDER. 1 HOUR.
SKILLS REQUIRED TO ENTER CLASS: CARTWHEEL, FORWARD ROLL, CHIN UP TO BAR, BE ABLE TO WALK WITHOUT ASSISTANCE ON LOW BEAM.
 

GYMNASTICS II - 7 YEARS AND OLDER. 1 HOUR, 15 Minutes
SKILLS REQUIRED TO ENTER CLASS: CARTWHEEL, HANDSTAND, BRIDGE TO KICKOVER ON INCLINE MAT, PULLOVER ON BARS, WALK WITHOUT ASSISTANCE ON MEDIUM BEAM.
 

GYMNASTICS III - 8 YEARS AND OLDER. 1 Hour, 45 minutes
SKILLS REQUIRED TO ENTER CLASS: BACKWALKOVER, ROUNDOFF, PULLOVER AND BACK HIP CIRCLE ON BARS,ATTEMPT CARTWHEELS AND HANDSTANDS ON LOW BEAM WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. 

TUMBLING

All Tumbling Classes Below will focus on TUMBLING SKILLS ONLY!!! 


Beginner Tumbling - 6 years old and older - 1 hour (1  day per week)
The following skills will be taught and must be mastered in order to proceed to the next level class. Tuck, straddle, pike rolls both forward and backward, handstand rolls, bridge ups, cartwheels, roundoffs, back bends, front and back limber, walk over, back extension rolls
 

Advanced Tumbling
Based on Skill. Must Be able to perform a backhandspring (flip flop)
90 minutes - 1 or 2 days per week
The following skills will be taught: back hand springs from a stand and round off, fronts, back salto skills in the positions of tuck, pike and layout, whips, fulls.


Flip Flop Shop (1 Hour, 1 Day per Week)
An entire hour dedicated to mastering a back handspring!! A great compliment to ANY class!! Also Considered a great class for After you have mastered beginner tumbling.
